In 2021 The Go-Go’s were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and I was creating a music video for a Beauty & the Beat track that never had one.
A collaboration with Bay Area band Whitney’s Playland resulted in a cinematic music video rich with San Francisco landmarks and a hint of intrigue.
She wanted to forget her past. Or rather, abandon it like a codemned house.
She wanted to concentrate all her energies on one thing. Something all her own.
